Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

  • A booking is only confirmed once the completed booking form has been received and the 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid.

2. Final Payment

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival.
  • If the remaining balance has not been received before your dog’s check-in date, Harrogate Dog Suite reserves the right to cancel the booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

4. Vaccinations

  • Dogs must be up to date with their core vaccinations. Proof of vaccination is required before boarding.
  • Harrogate Dog Suite reserves the right to refuse admission if satisfactory evidence of vaccination is not provided.

5. Health

  • Dogs must be in good health and free from contagious illnesses, fleas, ticks and worms on arrival.
  • Owners must disclose any medical conditions or medications.
  • Owners must inform Harrogate Dog Suite immediately if their dog develops a contagious illness before their stay begins.
  • Dogs imported into the UK from abroad must provide evidence of a negative Brucella test before boarding.

6. Behaviour

  • Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, excessive barking, escaping or separation anxiety.
  • For everyone’s safety, Harrogate Dog Suite reserves the right to refuse or end a stay if a dog’s behaviour poses a risk.
  • Failure to disclose behavioural issues may result in the booking being terminated without refund.

7. Emergency Veterinary Care

  • If a dog becomes ill or injured during its stay, Harrogate Dog Suite will seek veterinary treatment where necessary.
  • Every effort will be made to contact the owner or emergency contact first. In an emergency, treatment may be authorised without prior contact if this is considered necessary for the dog’s welfare.
  • Veterinary costs arising from illness, pre-existing medical conditions, or injury not caused by the negligence of Harrogate Dog Suite are the responsibility of the owner.

8. Belongings

  • Owners are welcome to bring their dog’s bed, food and favourite toys.
  • While every care is taken, Harrogate Dog Suite cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal items.

9. Drop-off & Collection

  • Please arrive at the agreed drop-off and collection times.
  • Late collections may incur an additional charge.

10. Photos & Social Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during your dog’s stay and shared on Harrogate Dog Suite’s website and social media unless you request otherwise.

11. Uncollected Dogs

  • If a dog is not collected as agreed and no contact is made, additional boarding charges will apply until collection.

12. Neutering

  • Harrogate Dog Suite only accepts neutered dogs.
  • Unneutered male dogs and unspayed female dogs cannot be accepted for boarding.

13. Walks & Exercise

  • Dogs will be exercised in accordance with their age, health and abilities.
  • While every reasonable precaution is taken, owners acknowledge that walks, transport and play involve inherent risks.
  • Dogs will only be exercised off lead where the owner has provided written consent and Harrogate Dog Suite considers it safe to do so.

14. Right to Refuse Bookings

  • Harrogate Dog Suite reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where it believes this is in the best interests of the dog, other dogs in its care, or staff.

15. Licence & Welfare

  • Harrogate Dog Suite is licensed by the local authority and follows all relevant animal welfare standards to provide a safe, comfortable home-from-home environment.
